Latest Volusia County Beach Parking News
Park Volusia oversees Volusia County’s Beach Driving and Off-Beach Parking programs, offering annual parking permits for easy beach access.
All permits and passes under Park Volusia will be virtual—no more windshield stickers. Instead, your vehicle’s license plate will serve as your permit or pass. You’ll enter your license plate information annually and can update it anytime throughout the year, such as if you purchase a new vehicle or temporarily use a rental.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will no longer have the ability to apply/purchase an annual parking permit at the beach toll booths, so apply online, in the Volusia County Beaches app, or visit a Park Volusia office.
“NO-COST” Parking Permits for Volusia County Residents!
Volusia County residents can apply for permits that grant access to beach driving and parking at any of the County's 65 designated off-beach lots without a fee. If you've already purchased a beach access permit within the past year, it will remain valid until it expires. However, we encourage all residents to apply today to take advantage of the complimentary permit.
Visitors Can Purchase a New Virtual Pass!
Visitors to Volusia County can purchase annual parking passes online that provide access to beach driving and County-owned off-beach parking lots.
Previously purchased beach driving permits will not be valid for off-beach parking in a County-owned lot. A visitor must separately purchase an annual pass for beach driving and off-beach parking.
Visitors can also purchase daily passes for beach driving or off-beach parking upon arrival. Daily beach driving passes provide unlimited re-entry access for beach driving on the day of purchase, as tide and weather conditions permit. Daily off-beach parking passes provide unlimited re-entry to all County-owned off-beach parking lots managed by Park Volusia on the day of purchase. Vehicles with daily passes can move between different County-owned parking lots throughout the day without additional fees.
